267 Queen Street East Project composed of a new construction with some saved heritage brick warehouse façades and joined at street level by a series of retail-and-dining-lined pedestrian alleys.
The surrounding urban fabric consists of two neighbourhoods: Queen street to the north ans Richmond Street to the south. two aforementioned neighbourhoods currently segregated by the site the development would knit them together. The centrepiece of project dedicated to a public realm_ an Urban Room created to knit and link two neighbourhoods together through a north- south lane-way.
Street scape along Richmond St. shows small scale masses and heritage buildings which reflects and preserve on the new building mass.
